This costume is my Dungeons and Dragons character, Rue, who is a Kenku (bird person.) The Kenku are a monster race that became playable in 5th edition.
The photos in this post were taken by D. Davalos (flickr, twitter, instagram) at PAX West 2016.
“Built for stealth and speed, these units were both feared and admired during the Last War. Their gracefully arched profile and long ears earned them the nickname “Anubot”. Efficient single unit snipers, they did not need a spotter as their secondary eyes and ear units were designed to measure wind, distance, earth curve and projectile arc while the primary eyes focused on their target. Their long cable bundle tails serve as a cat-like counterbalance and as a tool to interface with other machines. Quiet and reserved, they have not taken to their decommissioned life as easily as the Robodogman units they served with. Some still wander, trying to find their place in a new world….“
He started working on it in August, and you can really tell he put a lot of work into it because of how awesome it looks. He can actually make the jaw move while wearing it.
I highly recommend you to check his Instagram to see the progress of his costume.
So I finally ready to show you my MCCREE cosplay! I
was in this character on Russian Comiccon/Igromir, so here some photos
from this convention! I hope you will like it, have a nice day, will ya?

“Halloween isn’t about getting hold of candy. It’s about who is in control of the supply. And when it comes to Overwatch, only one character is in charge: the dad.”
I’m about halfway done with my Anna Henrietta cosplay, so it’s time to document some progress! As soon as I saw this design, I wanted to recreate it - it’s her riding outfit from The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC. The bodice (steel-boned velvet/pleather corset and custom striped velvet/brocade sleeves) is just missing a belt and a few other details, and then I’m on to her capelet. It’s been such a challenge, but I’m learning a TON about historical sewing techniques on this one :)
